Reflection
Developing the checklist created a few challenges. First was ensuring it was comprehensive, which required reviewing similar checklists and incorporating applicable questions. I also had to be cautious about my own bias affecting the questions and the rating system. Initially, I opted for a yes/no rating system. This proved overly simplistic for some questions that required more elaboration. I chose the Likert Scale, using a range from "Strongly Agree" to "Strongly Disagree," with the questions as the desired outcomes, and the range reflected the evaluator's inherently subjective viewpoint.  

I appreciated the various areas that the checklist was intended to cover; many areas I took for granted. Accessibility, production quality, interactivity, and relevance were all important, but permissions and licensing really caught my attention. Something I notice in the military is the use of materials and/or information in training and education that isn't properly cited and, in some cases, may not be legally permissible. I'll need to be extra cautious so as not to fall into these bad habits. 

This week's topic and activity raised a concern with my project. Unlike other topics, where I could likely search the web for YouTube or TED videos, blogs, podcasts, etc. My mini-course topic doesn't have many external sources, so I will likely need to create the content myself rather than pull from public resources. Aside from military regulations, organizational policy, and the website that I reviewed, there isn't any additional media. This will likely be a significant challenge moving forward.
